Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Pablo who met us at the property and gave us the keys was very kind and helpful. The property was in a quiet neighborhood and had a decent pool. The property was mostly clean and comfortable, which suited our needs. We enjoyed the screened-in outdoor room off the living room to stay away from the bugs.

Negative: While not far from town, it's too far to walk from the property to the town and beach. The bathrooms were outdated and in need of some repairs. Toilets had troubles flushing, but I know that isn't uncommon for CR and we managed to make it work. The upstairs shower had trouble draining and the shower head rusted/fell off. All of the beds were full-sized which is small for couples, but not horrible since the rooms weren't big enough to accommodate a larger bed. The pool is only 4-foot deep. The ranchero had a couple holes in the roof that would leak when it rained and the bathroom in there had quite a bit of mold growth on the ceiling. Operating the dryer was tricky without being able to understand the controls in Spanish.

Summary: Quaint property outside of town that is comfortable but in need of repairs.
