Summary: I felt misled.
I think it’s important to note if you are booking this for an overnight stay, that you will be sharing your meal and most of your time with the couple hundred tourists that come on buses for the attraction and leave after the shows.
As we were the only overnight guests staying on the property it would have been a nice consideration for having our table called among the first for the buffet. As it was we sat there starving and were among the last tables called even though we were a table of two. A different table near us got up and went back for a second serving before we were even served!! The food was adequate, the humanity of people at the buffet was rude and pathetic. Very chaotic. By this point we didn’t even want to watch the entertainment after dinner.
The overall experience was fine for a roadside attraction but I wouldn’t have booked an overnight stay if I had known what the situation would be. That the toilets are not only shared by “campers” but shared with everyone who attends that camp should be reconsidered. No thank you to showering there.
Excellent site for photos, the camp itself is very nice. The tents are well appointed and very nice but your suitcases and belongings are unsecured to anyone present in the camp (all these hundreds of bus tourists) which wasn’t very comfortable.
The camp is very clean and the staff are very kind.
Wouldn’t call this ‘Elite’ or necessarily ‘glamping’ the experience was interesting though.
