The apartment is just a 4 minute drive from the village, down a country road, and is the perfect location for exploring Galway and Connemara. Or you could just enjoy all that the village has to offer.
For the more adventurous, drop by the Moycullen Riding Centreand enjoy some riding along the shores of Lough Corrib. Try out some of the numerous activities for all ages at the Wildlands Activity centre make sure to try out the Olive Tree Restaurant for some great food & take away. Loughwell Farm is a great day out for all ages and is literally just up the road from the apartment (3 min drive). There is an abundance of locations to enjoy fishing on lough Corrib nearby.
The Connemara Marble Visitor Centre, located in the village, is dedicated to one of Ireland’s oldest industries, mining. Visit the centre and learn the history of mining, see the master craftsmen at work, cutting and polishing marble and admire Ireland’s largest display of Connemara Marble jewellery. On Fridays there is a great market in the village all day with local produce and crafts.
St Bridgets Gardenis just 10 minute drive away. The unique Celtic Gardens take you on a magical journey into the heart of Celtic heritage and mythology, making it one of the truly outstanding family-friendly places to visit in the West of Ireland. Set within 11 acres of native woodland & wildflower meadows, visitors can enjoy the sun trail, an ancient ring fort (fairy fort), kids’ nature trail, thatched roundhouse and crannóg, and the calendar sundial, the largest in Ireland. They also have an incredible vegetarian café.

Inside:This new apartment is finished to a very high standard and has everything you could need for a great stay. You enter into a bright airy living space with kitchen area to the left with lovely countryside views. On your right you will find a dining and seating area with comfy seats and Smart TV to enjoy. Down a short corridor you will find a double & twin room with great storage. At the end of the corridor is a luxurious bathroom with large shower.
The apartment is located behind the owners home but is not over-looked and is very private. This is a great property for exploring Connemara or if you are looking for an alternative to staying in Galway city.
