Positive: The location is fantastic. The views from the balcony are wonderful. An easy walk into the old town. The apartment is very spacious. Menyber (the management company) responded quickly when we emailed with problems. The maintenance guy was very helpful he did a list quickly and efficiently. The gas needed changing, the sink unblocking, he changed a bulb and helped us understand the lighting system. We also asked for a replacement ironing board as the one in the apartment was threadbare and unusable. This was replaced the day after I emailed. The bedrooms were both dark and very quiet so we slept well.

Negative: The apartment needs a major overhaul. Everything is tired and feels unloved. We had issues with the plumbing in the bathroom as had previous guests when we read the reviews which had clearly not been addressed. We were unable to get hot water as the flow rate was too little to ignite the boiler. Maintenance came out and tried to fix it (he did fix other issues around the apartment) but the hot water issue needed a plumber the next day. The owner had to be contacted to give permission for this.This resulted in lots of flow but very discoloured, smelly water for the rest of our stay. (Another 2.5 weeks) We were assured it wouldn't harm us but it did affect the enjoyment of our holiday. When you are on holiday you shouldn't be having to try and sort problems out which have been raised previously in reviews before our arrival. We warned them that it would cause problems for the next guests. Hopefully it will be sorted.

Summary: Great location but tired unloved property.
