Nestled in the 24,000 m2/6 acre private jungle grounds of Southern Drake Lodge our Gatehouse Cabin is close to both the Pacific Ocean and Corcovado National Park giving you the best wildlife the air, land and sea has to offer.
Located between the towns of Drake Bay and Los Planes on Costa Rica's beautiful Osa Peninsula. The cabin is high on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by jungle, close to Rio Agujitas. Tours leave this area daily to Corcovado National Park and Caño Island which are both close by. We're close enough to town to take advantage of it's amenities but far enough away to escape and enjoy the tranquility of the rainforest.
Larger groups - Southern Drake Lodge as a whole can sleep 14 extremely comfortably if booked with our Rainforest Penthouse and our new Jungle Apartment and Ocean Suite (with private infinity pool) opening in December 2022. With our brand new outdoor cooking, grilling, stargazing and monkey and birdwatching viewing platform and separate fire pit and grill and....poolside bar, you have the perfect location for celebrations or get togethers.
This 1 Bedroom Cabin provides accommodation with View, Ocean View, Bedding/Linens, for your convenience. This Cabin features many amenities for guests who want to stay for a few days, a weekend or probably a longer vacation with family, friends or group.
