Summary: This is an amazing house with a fantastic pool and is well equipped. We loved being here once settled in. The map was inaccurate at the time of booking so we adjusted our expectations and enjoyed our stay. The host was helpful and offered support for us to be closer to the airport for our last day. Much appreciated. The house has great amenities and the kitchen has many bonuses like laundry, icemaker and lots of cutlery. The pool was a gift from heaven on hot days. Great rooms and set up. We saw a few lizards and geckos and many birds while relaxing in the covered patio. This is a country location which requires some creative driving to get to the gated entry. We very much enjoyed the local towns and getting a feel for authentic Costa Rica without tourists and English speakers. We found it easy to drive to parks and hikes. The place was clean, quiet and safe, as well as away from busy city noises. Would recommend to anyone seeking a retreat in the country.
