Summary: Room and location were great, nice and quiet and a short walk to the city centre and plenty of places to eat round about. Major downpoint for me is that it was advertised with a gym, swimming pool, spa etc. To get access to these you had to pay €35 per person, any other hotel I have stayed in this is all included. On the first morning the lights in the room turned on just before 6am, when we asked at reception about this we were told this is what happens which we found odd. We were later told its a security feature if the room is too dark then if the sensors pick up movement the lights turn on. Weirdly this didn't happen again for the rest of the stay so not sure what was going on. Overall, staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is worth staying in and enjoyed our stay.
