Charming very well maintained fully furnished and equipped three bedroom second floor rental apartment on one level with it's own private patio in central Ciudad Colon. Very convenient, located close to the University of Peace, the charming town center of Ciudad Colon with its famous farmers and organic markets and 4 minutes to the highway 27 towards San Jose and only 15 minutes from the hospital CIMA, Multiplaza shopping mall and 1 hour to the Pacific Coast beaches, volcanoes and numerous other nature attractions.
The house is in the centre of town in a secure building. Walking distance to everything...shopping, transportation, restaurants, banks

So bring sweater and pants along with those shorts.
Having lived in different areas has taught us that we find the constant heat and humidity of the beach hard to tolerate for extended periods. Housing in Costa Rica is generally poorly insulated and electricity is extremely expensive so it's unlikely you'll find anyplace to cool off if your living at the beach. Similarly a house in the higher elevations with pools have very chilly water.
