Can Bufas is an old village house with 6 rooms with capacity for 11 people, built in the 1700s, which has been completely restored by its owners with a lot of love and dedication. Located in the historic center of Castell d’Aro, a medieval town in the Baix Empordà, near Platja d’Aro beach. Can Bufas is a quiet refuge in a very diverse environment. The house is characterized by its Provençal decoration, which combines respect for the past and originality in its choice of furniture and recovered materials.
The house has different cozy corners and hiding places, such as the living room with fireplace, porch, where you can have breakfast and dinner in the summer, and the kitchen; where you can be with friends near the fireplace. The rooms are bright, each reflecting its unique character through the attention to detail given by its owners, who have chosen each piece of decoration and furniture for the different areas. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, the main dining room, a toilet and a single bedroom. In the garden area, there is a double bedroom with bathroom. On the upper floor, there are 4 double bedrooms that start from the corridor, all with bathrooms, and one that has a terrace overlooking the garden.
The pool surrounded by cypresses and lavender and the garden of Can Bufas are an ideal oasis to forget the clock on your special holidays, and from where to visit the typical beaches of the Costa Brava and discover the historical heritage of the area .
Notes:
At 2:00 a.m. the pool lights automatically turn off and the automatic watering of the lawn is switched on, you have to collect things from the garden or you will find them wet the next day.
A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 20.00).Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges:- From 20:00 to 00:00, 60€;- Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible.Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you.
