Summary: The staff were amazing and the breakfast was great. However, someone was definitely smoking in the office and the awful smell carried through to the hotel lobby. The daily housekeeping was slightly unnecessary and I'm sure not very sustainable. Our room was unbearably hot however, the staff accommodated this by turning down the AC to 17 degrees. This is still very, VERY hot to sleep in and they are all controlled centrally, so you can't turn it down individually in your room. The room is very dated and you had to use the shower in a hand-held fashion, which is really annoying. It doesn't sit right in the holder so you can't wash your long hair properly and when it sits in the holder, it sprays onto the shower screen and then leaks onto the floor. Our wardrobe cupboad didn't have any doors on. It's marketed as a four star, but it definitely isn't - perhaps more 2.5 stars.
